Rosmerta

Somehow I picture dragons as being the wealthy burghers of the quasi-medieval mythical kingdom: few in number, powerful, wealthy by hoarding. I'd expect them to be not so much fierce and mysterious as rather sedentary and used to the good life.

So, here we have Rosmerta, portly dragon, stepping out briefly to survey all of which she is mistress and show off a few items of jewellery to any lesser monsters who might be passing, before returning home to make an inventory of the rest and possibly have a nap.
